The Church Pianist: Part Two of Easy Piano Duo Offertory

I wanted to clarify a few things on this easy piano duo
offertory.

Did you notice how Piano One switched back and forth
from "Amazing Grace" to "Grace Greater"?

Piano One played harmony for the "Grace Greater" sections.

Piano Two played a little harmony during the last two measures.

This is part two of the easy piano duo offertory.

It's nice to have easy offertories on hand for those last minute
notices.

Click on the link below to hear the entire chorus.

Hi Jenifer!

I hope you had a blessed Sunday. My Sunday was very nice, which (oh my) ended about an half an hour ago. (I must go to bed!)

I like the arrangement. I never thought the two hymns come together so nicely (and they are both my favorites). I would like to try it in my church someday, with organ and piano.

Is this possible to be played by one person, the left hand doing piano 2 and right hand doing piano 1?

I hope you have a blessed and sound week.

We had a great Sunday! I can tell you're on a different timetable over there:)

This arrangement would probably work for piano and organ.
The organist may have to make some minor adjustments.

As far as combining the two parts for one piano....it can be done but the words wouldn't flow as well due to the alteration of melodies.

It works better to hear both melodies at once on this kind of idea.

Hope you're able to use the arrangment idea for your church someday.

Glad to hear you're serving the Lord through the music ministry:)

Thank you! You have a blessed week as well.

Hi Jennifer,
I am so excited to find this sight. I am a Church pianist as well as my Pastor's wife and I am so limited in my piano playing. I can basically only play what is written and mostly taught myself. I have wanted so much to be able to learn to improvise and add music to the hymns, but just didn't know where to begin. Seeing your samples and even your full pieces have been such a blessing to me. I have to see something and hear it to understand,so its wonderful to actually have some music to practice. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this for us. Your music is so beautiful and so God honoring.
The Lord Bless you,
Kathy
